Interests: english literature, russian literature (fyodor dostoevsky is so wonderful), musicals, theatre/drama, Augustine (pronounced au-GUS-ten...not au-gus-TEEN...in case you ever wondered) of Hippo, writing...I have come to the point where it is getting hard to do the creative non-fiction thing...there is only so much non-fiction I can write about myself (since most of the assignments are supposed to be about myself, that might pose a problem), blankets.
Expertise: English literature and grammar, starting up fights with boys about how Jane Austen is one of the most amazing authors of our time, and playing Lolo...that cute, little, blue fuzzball!

hmmmm...

I fear my poor little rosencrantz is suffering from neglect.  everybody play with him!!

Thanksgiving was tiring this year.  I don't know why, but it was.

The semester is almost over and the odious American Lit and Shakespeare classes will burden me no more.  yay!

Christmas is coming!  big yay!

alright brother matt...this one's for you!

OKAY....I am sitting at my office at work, on a Friday, with nothing to do.  Since this rarely happens, I am going to revel for awhile, partake in pleasures I rarely get to experience...and...write on my xanga!  whee!

well, let's see...since pledging has ended, I have had time to get loads more sleep than I usually get.  Last weekend I actually got so much sleep that when I woke up at 5 am on Tuesday, I was ready for the day.  And believe me, it was a long day...but I wasn't a bit tired.  That's what happens when you get proper sleep.  I had forgotten.

hmmm....I get to go bowling tomorrow.  it is for an organization in town called big brothers big sisters.  Really awesome organization and I can't wait to bowl!  It's gonna be way fun.

Oh, and there is a chance I may get to go to Oxford during Maymester!  They are offering a course on expatriate writers in Oxford and Spain...Pamplona, Spain to be exact....you know, the place where the bulls run.  But there won't be any bulls chasing me, because they don't do that event in May.  And it gets that final odious American Lit credit out of the way.  Oxford and American lit...who knew?!

And speaking of traveling, I signed up for a spring break campaign yesterday...yep, I am going to Virginia Beach, VA over spring break.  And I have no idea what I will be doing until I get there, but I think it will be an awesome trip, so I am excited.

I am very excited about Thanksgiving coming up in the near future.  It makes me smile to see the end of the semester so close...it's been...well, not my most favorite.  Let's leave it at that.  But I am looking forward to next semester...Mythology and Monsters, can't get much better.  ooooo...and biology, too.  yay!

Well, benzeneboy, I've nearly talked myself sick.  But that is all the news I have.  So I leave you with this thought...passive voice IS NOT wrong!  remember that liberating sentiment!

buh-bye.

FREEDOM!

my ankle is freee!!!  praise God for the liberation of my ankle from the tyrannical gelcast brace (icky stuff!).  Now I can do all sorts of fun stuff...but I can't do dance aerobics ...at least not for another 10 days.  oh well...sayin' bye-bye to the pitty me brace and hello to the cute little black one that says, "hey, I injured my ankle...and I didn't cry...so that makes me hard core!"

hehehe...bye!
